Tropical fruits and tub plants:
Representatives of the Musa (banana) family, Citrus species, guava, coffee, oleanders, Myrtus species, Acacia, Bougainvillea, Eucalyptus, Fuchsia, Hibiscus, Mimosa, Passiflora (passion flower) etc. species. At least 300 species can be seen outdoors from spring to autumn.
Medicinal plants and rock garden perennials:
A continuously growing collection, part of which is located in a closed area. Currently almost 500 species and varieties are on display here. From early spring to late autumn you can always find something in bloom. Besides its diversity it also serves educational purposes.
Water and marshland plants:
Nearly 40 plants are on display outdoors, in and around the 15 m² pool in front of the palm house, including Menyanthes trifoliata (buckbean), Nymphaea (water lilies) in 5 colours, Nelumbo nucifera (Indian lotus), Saggitaria (arrowheads), Typha (cattails) etc.
